SOLUDO FELICITATES WITH STATE LEGISLATURES AS THE 8TH ASSEMBLY MARKS 1 YEAR IN OFFICE  At the Anambra State House of Assembly, a special Thanksgiving church service to commemorate 25 years of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria and the first year in office for the members of 8th Assembly was held today the 12th day of June, 2024.  The non-denominational service, which took place at the complex, was officiated by the Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province on the Niger and the Bishop of Awka diocese Anglican communion, His Grace Most Rev'd Alexander Chibuzor Ibezim. In his sermon, the Archbishop called for legislatures that will be accountable to the masses. He appreciated the achievements of the lawmakers and prayed that they put the citizens' interest above theirs as they strive for excellence. SOLUDO VISITS THE BUILDING COLLAPSE SITE AT DMGS, PROMISES THOROUGH INVESTIGATION  The Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has visited the site of the collapsed 5-storey building at the  Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha, promising a thorough investigation into the tragic incident. Addressing reporters at the scene over the incident, which took place on Tuesday night, Governor Soludo expressed deep sadness over the incident, describing it as tragedy. "It is an unfortunate incident.
