ENUGU AND ANAMBRA STATE CHOOSE HOMEGROWN SOLUTION FOR SETTLEMENT OF BOUNDARY DISPUTES.

Yesterday at Abuja, the nation's capital was the boundary meeting  between Anambra and Enugu State.  The meeting which was headed by the Director General, National Boundary Commission; Alhaji Adamu Adaji. The DG in his welcome address, highlighted on the importance of the boundary commission in identifying, monumenting  and settling boundary issues in the nation and expressed the Commission's readiness in resolving the matter as it affects Anambra and Enugu State.  On his part, the Anambra State Deputy Governor Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, who represented the state Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) at the meeting described the two states as sisters. Stressing that the issue between the two states shouldn't have been allowed to linger thus far. ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT INAUGURATES MBAUKWU PEACE COORDINATOR GROUP

In furtherance of achieving Mbaukwu town Union election as scheduled for Easter 2024, Anambra state Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim inaugurates the town peace Committee group at the government house Awka. The Committee who were best described as peace coordinators of the community were charged with the responsibility of constitution drafting and ammendment, resolving of any issue surrounding the 6th village. Advised to key into plans the state government has already rolled out for other communities stating that truth is a requisite for them in achieving any lasting impact.  In his vote of thanks the spokesperson of the group Amb. MBAUKWU COMMUNITY AGREES ON PEACEFUL TOWN UNION ELECTORAL PROCESS.

Consequent on cancellation of Mbaukwu Town Union election for the office of the President General of the community earlier scheduled to hold this yuletide. The  Anambra State Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim an indigen of the community at a meeting held today at Mbaukwu civic center, called on all candidates and their supporters to trade for peace as against using material wealth to sway over the minds of the community  members.  He urged them to go for individuals with integrity who when elected will be impactful to the community. SOLUDO UNVEILS UNIFIED HYBRID ENFORCEMENT TEAM (UBETH) CENTER IN AGU AWKA

Today at the UHBET center Awka was the end of year get together and the unveiling of the center. Anambra state Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) who was represented at the event by his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim after the tour of the facility, appreciated the steps taken by the Soludo-led administration in providing such center which poises to harbour conferences, events, workshops etc. An avenue the state government is using in rendering services back to the people and in return revenue for the government which is geared towards the good of ndi Anambra. GOVERNOR SOLUDO LAUNCHES EMBLEM IN COMEMORATION OF THE ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY

  The Governor of Anambra state Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) at the government house in Awka, launches the 2024 emblem of the armed forces as organized by the Nigerian Legion. Governor Soludo who was represented by his Deputy Dr, Onyekachukwu Ibezim went down memory lane on the impacts and contributions of the members of the Nigerian legion towards the growth and defense of our nation. He extolled the retired ex service men and promised of the state government's unrelenting support in attending to their needs as a body. The Chairman, Nigerian Legion, Anambra state wing Chief Eze Agbogu appreciated the state government's support to the legion, enumerated their plights and solicits the state government's support. ANAMBRA STATE JOINS THE ECO SYSTEM START UP ACT. Today at the Solution Innovative District (SID) building when SMEs experts and some key government officials held the eco system stakeholders validation engagement on the Anambra state adoption of Nigeria Start Up Act. The Governor of Anambra State Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo in his speech,  expressed that the state is geared towards building a robust technology system. Mr. Governor who stated this through his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim stressed that with the eco system act, Anambra can harness and benefit as a state all the technology advantages.
