ANAMBRA STATE JOINS THE ECO SYSTEM START UP ACT.

Today at the Solution Innovative District (SID) building when SMEs experts and some key government officials held the eco system stakeholders validation engagement on the Anambra state adoption of Nigeria Start Up Act.
The Governor of Anambra State Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo in his speech,  expressed that the state is geared towards building a robust technology system. Mr. Governor who stated this through his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim stressed that with the eco system act, Anambra can harness and benefit as a state all the technology advantages. He called on all
the SME experts to key into the technology evolution  reminded that without technology, one will not just  be left behind but get lost.
In her speech the Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Innovation Mrs Chinwe Okoli stated that Anambra adoption of the eco system engagement section is a requirement.
She futher explained that the eco system is  crucial in Mr. Governor's drive hence the provision of Solution Innovative District (SID) which poses to spur Innovative drive of ndi Anambra an invention propeller according to her in raising smart SMEs.
Mrs Okoli futher reminded the attendees the Anambra mantra which states "Everything technology and technology, everywhere" pointed that the adoption is not only a legal formality but a prove that Governor soludo is working the talk as partnership with the academia also will be established. 
In their different contributions the commissioner for Youth Empowerment Comrade Patrick Agha Mba described the adoption as " a great thing happening to the state". Pointed that the present administration has trained and empowered about five thousand individuals in various skills.
On her part the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning Mrs Chiamaka Nnake expressed hope and the importance of having acts that protects SMEs, the investors and its investment in a technology-driven era.
The state ICT MD Mr. Agbata expressed delight about the act, narrated  Mr. Governor's unrelenting efforts in providing high Powered broadband Internet speed in the state and advised that all states should look at its comparative advantage and use the law that will suit them.
Hon. Mike Mark Okoye II the MD Anambra State  Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) while describing the event as colourful, explained that the Anambra adoption of the Nigeria Start Up Act is to create opportunity for partnership with the eco system especially as it regards to investment.
Other contributors from the academia explained the need of synergy, describing  the Gen. Z as Innovative and digital driven generation that stops at nothing in expressing their digital drive and added that all businesses regardless of the size and location has it's tech advantage.
At the just concluded SMEs digital Startup competition app invention, "The Guarage" came first and won three million naira.  Followed by "RL Clothing" which came second for integrating tech into fashion world and won two million naira then "Entry pool" won one million naira and others with few consolation prizes.
