BOUNDARY MATTERS LINGER WHEN COMMUNITIES SHIELD TRUTH AND PROMOTE LIES ..IBEZIM, AS STATE BOUNDARY COMMITTEE REVIEWES 2023


Anambra state boundary committee meets reviewed 2023 performance and proffer for 2024.  Some communities like Amudo Awka and Egbeagu / Okukwa Amansea seized the opportunity to give consensual approval of the
stateboundary commission to establish monumental demarcation for their communites as Ukpo, Abba and Ukwulu communities despite the supreme court judgment and interpretations and yet a misconstrued situation amongst them were advised to coexist as brothers and sisters.  
Dr, Onyekachukwu Ibezim the Deputy Governor of Anambra State in his opening remarks stated that unity and peaceful coexistence amongst communities in the state is an enabler in opening the frontiers of the state for investors to come in as he explained that peaceful
coexistence between a community and another to a larger extent, promotes security and peaceful yuletide seasean. He retraited that  boundary issues arises and lingers when lies covers the truth and advises each community representative to choose the part of truth and not lies in other to make the matter easy for everyone. 
Other members of the committee present includes;
Commissioner for lands, Attorney general of the state/commissioner of Justice, commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning. Commissioner of Finance.
Commissioner for Local Govt. Chieftaincy and Town Union Affairs. Commissioner for Information. The Lands committee chairman at the state house of assembly. The police, DSS, Immigration, Traditional Council SSA Boundary, Executive Sec. Boundary, etc.

By Chioma Nwamah-Ahamefula  At the State Emergency Management Agency's  complex today November 13, 2024 was the official handover of multi million naira worth of relief items  donated by the area 70 region of the Church of Jesus  Later Day Saints to the state government  for the victims of flood disaster.
