GOVERNOR SOLUDO MOVES TO INTERVENE IN BOUNDARY DISPUTE BETWEEN UMUONYIBA UFUMA AND AWA COMMUNITY, VISITS LOCATION.

In a move to resolve the longstanding boundary dispute between Umuonyiba Ufuma and Awa community in Orumba South Local Government Area, the Anambra State Governor, Prof.  Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) has paid a visit to the affected area.

Governor Soludo, represented by his Deputy, was accompanied by his boundary team,aims to mediate on the boundary matter, and find a lasting solution to the dispute. The Deputy Governor, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, who chairs the Anambra State Boundary Committee, praised Governor Soludo's efforts in constructing an ultra-modern road that passboth communities .

Describing the people of both communities as brothers and sisters Ibezim advised they live together in peace because they were brought together by divinity  not by man. 

One of the community leaders, Mr.  Uche Ekene, the youth leader of the Ufuma community, expressed gratitude to the state government for their presence and intervention. Governor Soludo's impacts in the state were also acknowledged .
In a plea for peace, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof. Obidike  from Awa community emphasized that both communities are interconnected through marriage, children, and friendship, and should live together in harmony .

The visit was also attended by octogenarian Mr. Fabian Kenechukwu, who represented the traditional ruler of the Ufuma community.
