ANAMBRA CULTURAL DAY IN LAGOS, SOLUDO CALLS FOR  THINK HOME INVESTMENT

It is a bee hive of displays at the National Stadium sulurere , lagos state, Nigeria, when the people of Anambra State resident in Lagos observe their cultural day today, November 9, 2024.

The Anambra State Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) represented by his Deputy Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim expressed happiness that the people still remember their roots stressing that the programme is a call for oneness as a people and a reminder to the children that they have a home called Anambra .
The Deputy Governor assured them of the Governor's unrelenting efforts in Provision of a secured Anambra, reminded them of the giant strides of Mr Governor in the areas of education, road construction, employment, youth training on various skills and the general provision of social amenities in the state .

Dr. Ibezim encouraged them to think and invest at home, described the state as a construction site citing various works going on in all the 21 local government areas in the state. 
Different cultural group display by the 177 communities of Anambra residing in lagos,  traditional rulers from different communities from Anambra,  igbo cultural regalias, other entertainment groups and lectures were not exempted at this annual programme of ndi Anambra in lagos state.

By Chioma Nwamah-Ahamefula  At the State Emergency Management Agency's  complex today November 13, 2024 was the official handover of multi million naira worth of relief items  donated by the area 70 region of the Church of Jesus  Later Day Saints to the state government  for the victims of flood disaster.
