GOVERNOR SOLUDO LAUNCHES THE PHASE 2 PROGRAMME OF ONE YOUTH, TWO SKILLS.
The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo (CFR) has today the 8th day of August 2024 launched the second phase of the "One Youth, Two Skills" initiative with almost 9,000 ndi Anambra to be trained on various skills with the vision to transform Anambra into the largest skill hub and engaging youths into meaningful ventures.
Speaking at the event,the state Governor Prof. Soludo emphasized the importance of human capital development, saying, "Our goal is to give the youths employable and exportable skills." With mission to make at least 1000 million Anambra youths millionaires in each phase. 

He further explained that the program has five systematic pillars, which includes an apprenticeship scheme, entrepreneurial skills training, formation of cooperatives, business financing schemes, and mentorship schemes.
In his interview,the Anambra State Deputy Governor Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim commended the initiative, saying, "It's a wonderful program that will empower our youths with multiple skills for ease of multiple streams of income."

He added that credit facilities will be given to successful candidates, with a forecast of creating at least 1000 millionaires in this phase."
On her part, one of the trainees Miss Chioma Akabueze from Nawfia appreciated the state Governor Prof. Soludo for the initiative. She expressed optimism stating that she will utilise every opportunity the programme will avail her and called on her fellow trainees to be of good behaviour throughout the process. 

The program which aims to equip Anambra youths with skills to enhance their employability and entrepreneurship, promoting economic growth and development has the wife of the Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, the Speaker Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, Head of Service, Barr. Theodora Igwegbe, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Principal Secretary to the Governor, Barr. Joachin Anaeto, State Chairman of APGA, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye, Traditional Rulers, Transition Committee Chairmen, and members of Anambra State Excutive Council, traditional rulers among others in attendance.
