APGA STAKEHOLDERS IN AWKA SOUTH UNITE FOR SMOOTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS 
In a proactive move to ensure a seamless local government election process in the state for the party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) stakeholders in Awka South Local Government Area convened in Awka to strategize and discuss modalities for a hitch-free primay exercise. 
Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, seized the opportunity,  appealed to the people of the state to sustain their support for the Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, emphasizing that the Governor's vision for the state's repositioning is clear and unwavering.

Dr. Ibezim reiterated the party's stance on fielding the Transition Committee Chairmen as candidates for the chairmanship positions, urging stakeholders to rally behind them as two candidates will be nominated to run for the primary position of the Deputy Chairman.
The convener of the meeting Barr. Chinedu Chukwuma in his welcome speech,stated that the meeting was to intimate themselves with the party's stance. Concerning the issues surrounding the national chairmanship position of the party, Barr. Chinedu urged them to maintain unity as Hon. Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa is still the National Chairman until proven otherwise at the apex court.
The meeting brought about togetherness in APGA stakeholders and executive from all wards in Awka South as this demonstrates the party's commitment to unity and its determination to ensure a successful local government election in the area.

By Chioma Nwamah-Ahamefula  At the State Emergency Management Agency's  complex today November 13, 2024 was the official handover of multi million naira worth of relief items  donated by the area 70 region of the Church of Jesus  Later Day Saints to the state government  for the victims of flood disaster.
