NEW TC CHAIRMEN SWORN IN BY GOVERNOR SOLUDO AS HE CANVASES FOR DEEPER GRASSROOT DEVELOPMENT
The Anambra State Governor @ Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo has sworn-in the newly appointed Transition Committee Chairmen in the 21 local government areas of the state, charging them to deepen grassroots development despite the challenging times.

The Governor congratulated the newly sworn-in Chairmen and commiserated with them due to the paucity of funds and the enormous responsibilities they are expected to shoulder. He emphasized the need for transparency, accountability, and service delivery to the grassroots.

Deputy Governor Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim accompanied Governor Soludo to the event, which took place at the government and was attended by top government officials and party leaders.

The Governor expressed confidence in the newly appointed Chairmen, stating that they have what it takes to put their local governments on the map. He urged them to deploy the Public-Private-Community-Partnership (PPCP) model in their respective local government areas.

The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mr. Tony-Collins Nwabunwanne, extolled the Governor for his novel approach to running the local government system. The TC Chairman, Aguata Council Area, Dr. Chibueze Oforbuike, promised to make the Governor and the people of Anambra proud.

The event marked a new chapter in the state's grassroots development, with the newly sworn-in Chairmen poised to make a positive impact in their respective local governments.
