SOLUDO IN ATTENDANCE AS UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA HOLDS 52ND CONVOCATION CEREMONY

Moments ago, at the Margaret Ekpo Convocation Hall, University of Nigeria Nsukka, the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR), represented by his Deputy, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, joined the university community to witness the award of higher degrees and honorary doctorate degrees as part of the institution's 52nd convocation ceremony.
From Anambra state,notable recipients of the awards includes  Sir Dr. Emeka Offor, Rt. Hon. Paschal Agbodike of Ihiala federal Constituency, Hon. Barr. Emeka Igwe, member of the state assembly, and Chief Austin Ndigwe (Ozo Gidigbam Gidigbam), among others.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Ooni of Ife, who serves as the University's Chancellor, and Prof. Arinzechukwu Igwe, the Vice Chancellor as the event marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students and honorees, and also served as a celebration of excellence and achievement in various fields.
The convocation ceremony as witnessed is a testament to the university's commitment to academic excellence which has a role in shaping the future of Nigeria's leaders.

By Chioma Nwamah-Ahamefula  At the State Emergency Management Agency's  complex today November 13, 2024 was the official handover of multi million naira worth of relief items  donated by the area 70 region of the Church of Jesus  Later Day Saints to the state government  for the victims of flood disaster.
