SMFEST:  ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT HOSTS SOCIAL MEDIA FESTIVAL

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has emphasized the importance of social media in everyday life, urging youths to harness its power to make a positive impact. This message was conveyed through his Special Adviser on Innovation and Business Incubation, Hon. Chinwe Okoli.
Speaking at the Anambra Social Media Festival (SMFEST), held at the Hollywood event centre in Awka, the State Governor represented by his Deputy, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim expressed with pleasure the Soludo-led administration's commitment to youth empowerment and development. He praised Hon. Okoli as the ideal person to drive technological advancements in the state, describing her as "the square peg in the square hole" when it comes to tech.
Governor Soludo advised the youths to utilize social media responsibly, creating content that stands the test of time. He encouraged them to leverage social media to earn a living and contribute positively to the state's development. "In present-day running activities of solution government in Anambra, it's all about technology" he emphasized.
The event was attended by notable figures, including the Anambra State Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu, and popular social media influencer and skit maker, Mr. Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie (aka Brian Jotter). The programme which had Anambra up coming social media influencers in their great numbers was facilitated by Mr. Ifeanyi Ochije.
The Anambra Social Media Festival aims to promote digital literacy, innovation, and entrepreneurship among youths in the state.
