Anambra state Deputy Governor Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim celebrates niece Dr. Gosple Ozioma as she marries traditionally.
It was a moment of joy for the Ibezim's family when Dr. Ozioma Gospel Ibezim, the daughter of Archbishop Chibuzor Ibezim, of the Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger marries her heartthrob, Dr. Chukwudi Nzube Nmuoto at Mbaukwu in Awka South local government area of the State.
The traditional marriage, as seen, had in it a large number of turnouts of other Bishops from different dioceses, their wives, and other clergymen.
The marriage started with an opening prayer by the Lord Bishop of Aguata diocese, Most revd Samuel Ezeofor. Praise and worship and later, words of exultation by his Lordship Gbile Akani.
The bride's parents amidst mixed feelings prayed for a peaceful and fruitful home for their daughter and the husband.
The Anambra State Deputy Governor who is the uncle of the bride expressed joy about the marriage stating that unions of such bring growth in the family, stressing with every happiness that the tentacles of their family is spreading and prayed God to give them the wisdom to surmount obstacles in marriage.
In his interview, the Aguata diocesan Bishop Most Rev'd Samuel Ezeofor in his advised stated that marriage has principles and enabler in averting seperation and divorce. He explained that as "God factor," Bishop Ezeofor narrated that marriage is instituted by God, and by so, couples should abide by the godly principles for marriages to last .
Amongst those who sent goodwill messages to the couple includes Chief Mbanagum Ejikeme, who advised the couple to love one another. Maintain humility in their relationship and pray for blessings in their union.
Wife of the state's Deputy Governor lady Oluchi Ibezim, representative of Mr. Peter Obi, members of the Anambra state executive council, Senators , church leaders, different groups and well wishers were seen in their hundreds partaking in the sharing of joy with both families as the Archbishop was seen in his full igbo Chieftaincy regalia.
