ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT MOVES TO ESTABLISH LASTING PEACE AMONGST COMMUNITIES WITH BOUNDARY ISSUES...ENUGWU UMUAWAULU, AGBANO AWGBU, AND UMUENU UMUAWAULU

At the Ngene Oku river, the tripartite point of Umuenu Umuawaulu, Enugwu Umuawulu, and Agbano Awgbu.  The Anambra State Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) through his Deputy Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim who doubles as the Chairman Anambra State Boundary Commission visits with his team to have a first hand information on the presumed issue over the boundary which centered on  trespass of neighbouring lands of the other duo by the Umuenu Umuawaulu people as being  complained by the Agbano Awgbu and Enugwu Umuawaulu. 
Recall that  few days ago, the three affected groups met at the office of the Deputy Governor to ratify the said issue, and today, the presence of the state government was witnessed at the place.
Addressing the people, the Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim explained that for peace to be achieved, strenuous processes may be undergone. He advised those in land dispute to make peace amongst themselves or be left with the government in making it for them.
On there submissions the people of Enugwu Umuawulu and Agbano Awgbu who were present during the state government's visit to the area as agreed stated that  the Ngeneoku Stream with tripura on Ndunikwo stream is their ancestral boundary decried on why the people of Umuenu Umuawaulu went against the court judgments and constructed a recent culvert claiming the culvert is the new boundary. 
The senior special assistant to the Governor on Boundary Matters Hon Ekenechukwu Okoye, Deputy Chief of Protocol to the Governor (Office of the Deputy Governor) Hon.  Emmanuel Obieze and the executive secretary of the state's boundary committee, Mr. Jude Okoli were amongst those present at the dispute location. 
Meanwhile the people of Umuenu Umuawaulu as agreed refused to show up at the location as scheduled  a slight the state government will decisively deal with.
