ASATU HONOURS ANAMBRA STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR, OTHERS.

It was a day of honour and celebration when the Anambra State Association of Town Union ASATU during the event marking the end of the union's general meeting 2023.
Anambra state Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim was celebrated, honoured and decorated with the award of ASATU national president and also the most grassroot person of the state.
His belated birthday was also marked by the association aswell. Also that was recognised by the association was the immediate past ASATU president and members. Some outstanding Transition Committee chairman were decorated that includes the TC chairman of Anaocha, Hon. Gerald Ikechukwu Ozoh Ikechukwu Mmili Gerald .Idemili North TC chairman Hon.Obi Amaka Iyom , that of Anambra East Hon. Dr. Anselem Onuora and others. 
Also recognised and honoured during this event is the Anambra State football commission chairman and ex Super Eagle player General Chikelue Anthony  Ilonyosi as the ASATU football ambassador of the year.

Anambra Traffic Management Agency (ATMA) Marshall Mr. Chizoba Ifedioranma (the Aroma junction traffic controller) was also recognised as the best ATMA traffic worker of the year 2023 and other awardee.
Worthy to note is that the ASATU president general Chief Titus Akpudo was later on at the event honoured with the Africa Illustrious Award.

By Chioma Nwamah-Ahamefula  At the State Emergency Management Agency's  complex today November 13, 2024 was the official handover of multi million naira worth of relief items  donated by the area 70 region of the Church of Jesus  Later Day Saints to the state government  for the victims of flood disaster.
