EJESIEME (SAN) BIDS FATHER FAREWELL AMIST POMP AND PAGEANTRY
Live at St. Johns' Catholic church Agulu in Anaocha local goverñment Anambra state is the display of pomp and pageantry at the funeral mass in honour of late Chief Alexander Ejesieme. A well known business man in Awka during the 80s.
The Anambra state Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim who is representing the state Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) described late Pa Ejesieme as a strong disciplinarian emphasized that the legacy he left behind should be maintained.
Dr. Ibezim while recognizing the former Governor of Anambra state who was the Labour Party presidential flag bearer in the last general elections, an indigen of the community, His Excellency Mr. Peter Gregory Obi (CON) stated that government is a continuum. The Deputy Governor pointed out that yesterday a cheque of over 1.5 billion naira was issued to missionary schools a legacy of the then Obi's administration, well adopted by the solution administration all in giving schools back to missionary and equipping them adequately.
Legal luminaries, political stalwarts, friends of the family are present to bid Pa Ejesieme goodbye while Bishop Paulinus Ezeokaforofficiates the funeral mass.
Meanwhile late Pa Ejesieme is the father of Barr. Alex Ejesieme who until his induction was the youngest SAN.
Barr. Ejesieme AKA Obodo G. at some point was a Special Adviser to former Obiano's administration and Senior Special Assistant to then Obi's administration and he is also a member of the Madiba chambers a law firm situated in Abuja.
