IBEZIM DECLARES CLOSE THE TWO MONTHS 2023 O.G AND C.C IBEZIM FOUNDATION TRAINING.
Extra mural classes, a notable feature of the Nigerian education system that began long time ago and vocational education, the education that prepares one to a skilled craft as an artisan, trade as a tradesperson, or work as a technician.
These and more line with the Soludo-led administration in taking the youths out of the streets and channeling their strengths to meaningful endeavors, the founder of the O.G and C.C foundation Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim the Deputy Governor of Anambra state today declared close the two months vocational training and extra mural classes organised for youths and children in memory of his late parents Onyekachukwu Gilbert and Christy Ibezim.
In his speech the Deputy Governor expressed happiness over the success of the programme and stated that the foundation availed them the opportunity to fill in the gap of the state Governor's one youth two skills programme.
Dr Ibezim emphasised that those that couldn't get to the state government's approved training centres were given the opportunity to get trained by the foundation.
The Deputy Governor explained that the children were trained on web designing, computer appreciation, bakery, tailoring, welding, extra Morale classes, etcetera.
He further explained that the foundation is an opportunity to get other children trained aside theirs just like the late parents did during their life times.
Dr Ibezim called on well meaning ndi Anambra that have the capacity to do so in their various communities to adopt the approach for according to him, the government cannot do all alone.
In his interview a legal luminary Hon. OdiraEzeh Esq. appreciated the children. Stated that they have demonstrated they learnt something during the two months training and called on other stakeholders of the community to key into the programme he said that way the minds of the youths will be channelled into possitive directions and their talents and passion discovered and developed on time.
One of the teachers Mr. Austin Nnamah in his contribution expressed delight with the outcome. The seamster expressed the initial concern at the beginning and gave God the glory for the successful outcome.
He thanked the Deputy Governor for the opportunity given to him to impact on others.
An APGA stalwart in the community and Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor on Advance Protocol, Engr. Chisom Echelonu expressed delight over the turn out of the students and appreciates the efforts of the founder of the O.G & C.C foundation, Dr. Onyekachukwu Gilbert Ibezim the Deputy Governor of Anambra state in making the training come to fruition.
The free training which accommodates both indigen and non indigens of the community took place at Renaissance Polytechnic Mbaukwu. It recorded about one thousand individuals and had the wife of the Deputy Governor Lady Oluchi Ibezim bearing witness to the closing ceremony alongside Hon. Ekenechukwu Okoye SSA boundary and some parents of the trained Children.
