ANAMBRA DEPUTY GOVERNOR INDUCTED AS FELLOW EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT AND POLICY PRACTITIONERS  The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Association of Educational Management and Policy Practitioners (A'EMAPP). The induction ceremony took place today the 24th day of July 2024 during the 2nd international conference of the association, held at the ASUU building, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka. The conference, with theme "Digitalisation of Educational Management System", was attended by dignitaries, including the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Legal (Office of the Deputy Governor), who represented the Deputy Governor and amongst other members of the association within the nation. SOLUDO LAUNCHES 2024 ONE MILLION SEEDLINGS DISTRIBUTION.  The Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo  has launched the distribution of over 1 million cash crop seedlings across the state, as part of his administration's sustainable economic initiative.  These seedlings include palm, ukwa, bitter kola, and paw-paw, and are being distributed in all nooks and  crannies of the state through the Umunna system.  The goal is to plant 10 million seedlings in the next few years, empower over 1 million households and create new industrial ecosystem. APGA WELCOMES MORE DEFECTORS FROM MBAUKWU AS DEPUTY GOVERNOR'S BROTHER JOINS PARTY In a significant political development, more stakeholders from Mbaukwu have defected to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party. The latest to join the party is Mr. Ikechukwu Ibezim, the elder brother of the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim. NEW TC CHAIRMEN SWORN IN BY GOVERNOR SOLUDO AS HE CANVASES FOR DEEPER GRASSROOT DEVELOPMENT The Anambra State Governor @ Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo has sworn-in the newly appointed Transition Committee Chairmen in the 21 local government areas of the state, charging them to deepen grassroots development despite the challenging times. The Governor congratulated the newly sworn-in Chairmen and commiserated with them due to the paucity of funds and the enormous responsibilities they are expected to shoulder. He emphasized the need for transparency, accountability, and service delivery to the grassroots.
