ENUGU AND ANAMBRA STATE CHOOSE HOMEGROWN SOLUTION FOR SETTLEMENT OF BOUNDARY DISPUTES.
Yesterday at Abuja, the nation's capital was the boundary meeting between Anambra and Enugu State. The meeting which was headed by the Director General, National Boundary Commission; Alhaji Adamu Adaji. The DG in his welcome address, highlighted on the importance of the boundary commission in identifying, monumenting and settling boundary issues in the nation and expressed the Commission's readiness in resolving the matter as it affects Anambra and Enugu State. On his part, the Anambra State Deputy Governor Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, who represented the state Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) at the meeting described the two states as sisters. Stressing that the issue between the two states shouldn't have been allowed to linger thus far.
