SOLUDO MOURNS WITH UMUNYA COMMUNITY AS IGWE ONYEKWELUJE MARKS LAST OFALA. At St. James Anglican Church Umunya in Oyi local government is the funeral service of the late traditional ruler of Umunya community HRM Igwe Sir Dr. Chinedum Ifemenam Kris Onyekweluje (Nya 1 of Umunya) who reigned for 25 years on the throne departed at the age of 65 years. In his funeral service, the Anambra State Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR) whose Deputy Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim stood in for, described the moment as emotional, encouraged the Onyekwuluje family and the people of umunya to take solace in God, pride on the legacies of late Igwe Onyekweluje stating that the traditional ruler worked for God and humanity during his time.
