GOVERNOR SOLUDO PRESENTS 2024 BUDGET TO THE STATE ASSEMBLY

*SOLUDO PRESENTS N410 BILLION NAIRA APPROPRIATION BUDGET FOR 2024 TO ANAMBRA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY* By Christian ABURIME Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has presented a N410,132, 225, 272 budget for the 2024 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.  The budget, which is 57.8% higher than the 2023 budget, is focused on infrastructure development, education, and healthcare. Key highlights of the budget include; a N96.2 billion allocation for recurrent expenditure, accounting for 23.46% of the total budget, N313.9 billion allocation for capital expenditure, accounting for 76.54% of the total budget. There are significant increases in allocations for key sectors, such as Administration (50.85%), Economy (103.43%), Judiciary (72.9%), Social Sector (60.24%), Education (140.88%), and Health (169.55%). ANAMBRA STATE NYSC BATCH C STREAM 1 ORIENTATION CAMP DECLARED CLOSE BY THE STATE GOVERNOR

This morning when the Anambra state Governor Prof.Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR declared close the camp orientation training programme for the batch "C" stream "1". The Governor welcomed the new corps members to Anambra state, encouraged them to adopt extra training aside their service duties and expressed how eager the state is ready to welcome them as onye Anambra they are now while assuring them of safe and secured Anambra state all through their service stay. Moments ago in SID building, Awka when the Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim on behalf of the state Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR declared open the digital training programme of the youths as organised by Mrs Chinwe Okoli the special adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation.   Present was the MD/CEO Awka capital Development Authority Hon. Ossy Onunkwo and the over two thousand youths of Anambra who are ready to be trained on various digital skills such as, cyber security, Web design, artificial intelligence etcetera. Today, the 19th day of November, annually is a day set aside globally as the world international men’s day . The day when about 80 nations all over  the world including Nigeria set aside to promote and appreciate the male gender. This recognition has its origin traced back  to the 90s with the objective of promoting positive male role models in the society. It is a day set aside to foster dialogue about issues affecting men which includes mental health, parental alienation, homelessness, suicide, violence, and abuse of all sorts.
